Mr. Cheng Kok-kong is Hong Kong's celebrated lyricist. He wrote for over 2,000 Cantonese popular songs in his 50 years career. The Hong Kong Polytechnics University invited Mr. Cheng to be the Artist-in-Residence in the year of 2017-2018, where Mr. Cheng will coach the student and staff the skills of writing. There is also an exhibition on campus showcases Mr. Cheng's popular classics, handwritten manuscripts, and articles about his creation of lyrics and their meanings.
